So you have registered for your first online degree course and the 8 or 9 week course started 2 weeks ago. You find yourself falling behind with discussion posts and assignments already, even though you promised yourself not to procrastinate, however; here it is! What do you do now? You are working full time, you have a family, you need the degree for promotion and the only available study time is after midnight!

Here are some winning strategies:

1. Invest in a laptop with wireless access that can go everywhere with you so you can post your work almost anywhere at a moments notice.

2. Take a piece of the work item and do one thing at a time.

3. Have a look at what others are saying in the discussion posts and reply to some of your peers, this will gain you your participation points already!

4. Start the week’s assignment by doing the easiest part first and leave the digital document where you can access and add to it.

5. Do not stress out on depending on last minute discussion, & posts.

6. Set an alarm clock on your cell phone for after midnight for a 15-30 minute look at the list of work items due and make a plan of action of how to meet the requirements.

7. Do something! No matter how small, in order to move the work items forward.

8. Post what you have! Even if it is unfinished you will earn some points.

You can do this!
You will succeed!

I’m planning on joinging weight watchers online, and wanted to know what your experiences were with the online system. I’m a pretty disciplined person, and will not slack off just because I won’t have to face others at meetings…but seems like online would be a lot more convenient for me as I am a full time college student and employeed.

Please share your success stories, and/or any advice regarding weight watchers online…and last but not least. With the weight watchers online, are you mailed a “points booklet” or is everything completely online?

I’m a full-time border at a school, and the internet provided has a firewall that blocks all messenger programs like Yahoo and MSN, the only program that does work is Skype, but sadly the country in which my friends live, skype is blocked, so please can you tell me if there are any such websites wher i can commence in voice chat or conferencing and won’t need to donwload any software.

Also, is it possible to get around this firewall and connect on MSN or Yahoo, or any messenger program, as of now I’m using a web-based messenger which lets me connect onto my hotmail ID n lets me chat wid my msn buddies. Please tell me if there is a way to getting around the firewall
