I met some people online before and nothing came out of it, romantically speaking.
But then I asked a question here on Yahoo! answers and met a wonderful girl who is now my best friend and we talk and hang out all the time. She’s great! And we always joke about how we met.

Yes, I do agree you that some guys may look for porn or casual sex, and I have been before on sites where I was disappointed! But my last experience is great one.
