Rodney

I did it online last year. I ended up purchasing the books the previous post is talking about. Along with that, I bought a calculator to figure points out. It got expensive for me after a while, so I only was a member for 7 months. Now I just use the book and calculator and do fine. I wasn't aiming to loose a bunch of weight, but a few pounds and then maintain. Really, it helps you develope better eating habits.

The think I miss about doing weight watchers online is a page that let you put in all of the ingredients of a recipe, how many servings it made, and then it would calculate how many points per serving.

My mother-in-law was a weight watchers leader, so I also was able to get some stuff from her. I totally recommed trying it online. I was also a full-time college student and worked full-time when I joined, so it would have been very hard to go to a meeting.

If you decide to do it, I do suggest buying the points books and calculator (i think they were about 45 or 50$) b/c if you choose to cancel membership online, you can still look up point values - just not online!

Allan

I just joined Weight Watchers. They are selling a book for points for restaurants, and a general points book. I didn't get it for free---I bought the starter kit and got the books and a three month journal. Perhaps you can go to the nearest one and get the books.

Raul

I haven't done it online, but I go to the meetings.
As long as you are motivated enough to do it without the meetings, I'd give it a go.
